Medieval Eater
This design is inspired by archeological finds from the Tudor period, such as the Marie Rose Spoons. Its wonderfully simple shape feels comfortable in the hand. I particularly like the way the straight handle allows you to twirl it satisfyingly between mouthfuls! The bowl has a smooth inner surface and a faceted outer surface. It's great for eating breakfast, soups and stews.
Additional Info
The spoon is treated with food grade linseed oil and beeswax to protect the wood and prevent it from absorbing liquids. It can be washed with hot soapy water without damaging it. It is light and functional and will become more beautiful with use and age.
Your spoon will be made to order, from beech wood, unless I already have one in stock. If you have any specific preferences, please let me know by email or in the comments section of your order and I will try to accommodate you. Your spoon will be of the same design and quality as those in the pictures but they're a little like snowflakes: no two are the same.
